Relevant Experience

In February 2009, I was invited to attend an open day for programmers at Blitz Games Studio in Leamington Spa based upon a sample of my work.

 

I was invited to attend the European IPEAI - The Intensive Programme on Embedded and Ambient Intelligence held at Kiel University in North Germany in July 2009. This consisted of lectures and workshops around the concept of computers being an unnoticed yet highly intrinsic part of day-to-day life.

In the summer of 2010 I was asked to delay my MSc dissertation till the autumn as the University felt I was the ideal candidate to work at a partner college in Canada. I spent two months working for Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, as a researcher to help start their new research department. The project was a multi-player mathematics based simulation game that was to be used to subconsciously teach new students basic maths skills. I was responsible for producing and designing the client back-end system, including, data management, file I/O, the AI system as well the path finding, finance and stock systems.
